At the time of this writing, the Russian stock market is only down about twenty percent so far this year. The Russian ruble (rubble?) is at all time lows. No doubt with the latest antics in Crimea, Russia's international credit rating will be harshly downgraded. Being a self proclaimed 'energy superpower' requires a constant ton of incoming international capital. It seems to the Oracle of Ottawa that it is all a pretty high price to pay for a sand spit salt water parking lot.
Putin - Dealing from a full deck?
Although the Putin spin and image department run full out to make the boss a he man to every man, he certainly needs at least a seminar on real estate appraisal. When you are on the outside looking in, all you can do a is shake your head and wonder if a good government driven mental health strategy for Russia's top leading lights would not be a better use of the tax payers funds.

The Oracle of Ottawa thought that Canada had scrapped absolute bottom when Canada, under the auspices of the 'Harper Government', announced denunciation of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification. This of course put us in the auspicious company of one in relation to the world. Even though by doing this, the 'Harper Government' again literally shit in its own nest, since there are desert areas in Western Canada that were getting a lot of good out of the Convention. You would think that it would be very hard to top that. But Dear Reader you would be wrong again. There is no political party on Earth at the time of this writing that has such a natural propensity to soil itself and the once stellar reputation of Canada as does the present Conservative Party of Canada, otherwise known as the 'Harper Government'.

You would think that the 'Harper Government' would surely attempt to redeem itself in the face of its base and the World by getting behind the Arms Trade Treaty. But yet again the world and all of Canada was mortified that Canada under the leadership of the 'Harper Government' has decided that the popularity of agreeing with Russia, China, North Korea, India, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt was a much better decision.
At the time of this writing, Canada has been greatly outclassed by the following states: Antigua and Barbuda, Costa Rica, Guyana, Iceland, Italy(!), Mexico, Nigeria(!!), and Trinidad and Tobago, who have not only signed on to the treaty, but have all ready ratified it! Even the United States of America, the greatest arms dealer on Earth, has signed on to the treaty! But not the 'Harper Government', The Lord of War. One can only imagine how much small arms the 'Harper Government' plans to peddle in the near future. One must always assist the Invisible Hand and facilitate open markets and free trade at every opportunity.

Every time John Boehner appears on the Oracle of Ottawas big screen Sony television, the Oracle of Ottawa is strangely creeped out. There is some thing vaguely familiar and odious about the man, yet the Oracle of Ottawa cannot quiet put his finger on it. In the light of recent events the Oracle of Ottawa has day by day become more frightened. Who is this guy?
John Boehner - Creeps me out.
John Boehner is the second child out of eleven, born in Reading, Ohio. He shared the one bathroom in a two bedroom house and his parents slept on a pull out couch in the living room. Although his father owned a bar, it seems that capitalism, and being an entre-pren-whore was not paying very well at the time in Ohio. Out of this incubator of success, John was the only one in the family who ever graduated from college. It took him seven years because he appears to have been too stupid to go out and get a student loan, and besides that version sounds much better to the base in his riding. In Reading, Ohio John Boehner is a go getter and a shaker. Out in Boston and Washington he was always known as and is still known as a low life skidmark. Like John Rawls said, it is all about the starting point, isn't it?

You can also detect the unmistakable undertone of the huge chip on his shoulder, something that the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche would later call "the will to power". Many people in the Islamic world are probably very perplexed at why anyone in the confines of the Babylon of Satan, otherwise known as America and Europe would leave all that wealth and their Mickey Mouse hat with their very own name sewn on, to come to the stinking hot hell hole of the Islamic World. All these foreign operatives that are from the West are all young and strangely enough, very well educated. But in the West, now, after the New World Order conditioning as carried out by the Conservative Parties that exist only to do the New World Orders bidding, all youngsters just starting out are expected to work for nothing, in things called unpaid internships. Or if they really want to work for money, all they have to look forward to is minimum wage at some American box store, with no hope or union card for a well paid fat and happy future.
Many of them soon reach their limit and decide that it would be much better to make something out of their lives, and if it means becoming a Martyr against the back room minions of the New World Order, so be it. The Oracle of Ottawa has some good news and some bad news. First, the good news; the world that we now live in is not so bad, the bad news is that it is all so much worse than you could possibly imagine. The book is very attractively designed, and printed to the highest standards, as is to be expected by Farrar, Straus And Giroux out of New York. It is of a very comfortable octavo size, with the posh, bright clay paper, that gives it that comforting weight in hand . The typographic design is the highest contemporary example of what remains of American craftsmanship.
What immediately engaged the Oracle of Ottawa was not so much all the details of the arms deals, but rather all the dirt and detail on how it is all brought off. How everyone in the decision chain is tracked, filed, cataloged and ultimately corrupted. The Oracle of Ottawa found this very interesting indeed. The Shadow World is a lot like a bag of Frito Lay potato chips, bet you can't read just one page! And that fact that Andrew Feinstein can write like Tom Clancy, and yet relate an even better story that is all true, cited and referenced is to the Oracle of Ottawa one hell of a feat.
Once the Oracle of Ottawa got right into it, a cold realization came upon him. This is not just a book about the shadow world arms trade, it is really an unofficial New World Order playbook! The Oracle of Ottawa was shocked and very appalled at all the names of the great and good that popped up over and over in the text. Not to give anything away the Oracle will relate a few things that were found most interesting.
page xxviii - how the bank of American Presidents in Washington D.C. was used to send the 9/11 bombers their monthly allowance from a princess in the Royal Saudi family. (9/11 truthers will love this book...)
page 53 - how the Roman Catholic Church through the auspices of the Vatican Bank, accepted cash money, hand delivered by a Saudi Prince to throw an election in Italy.
page 205 - the name of a once very important Canadian MP and figure skater who is up to his neck in the shadow world.
page 264 - a most interesting story about Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands otherwise known as the co-founder of the Bilderberg Group! Yes Dear Reader, the shadow world is a strange house of many twisted rooms.
page 283 - the very weird and scary fingerprints of the Carlyle Group in and around the shadow world.
page 505 - how Pat Robertson was a good buddy of a certain third world dictator who lobbied for his interests in America in a hoped for return of a gold mine concession in Liberia! Praise the Lord and pass the ammo!
All in, the Oracle of Ottawa couldn't put this book down. And it is a keeper at arms length for future reference. It has also occurred to the Oracle of Ottawa that Andrew Feinstein might not only have one hell of a good book, but rather, he may have given birth to a whole new juicy franchise! Could it be that Andrew Feinstein is the founder of the Jane's of New World Order dirt and filth? The Oracle of Ottawa can hardly wait for the next updated installment!

The Oracle of Ottawa has been to many faraway places, many times, in his long life, so far. The Oracle has always found that a foreign destination is most safely picked by passing a little rule of thumb test, and that is never go to a strange country as a tourist that does not treat all of it's people as you are treated in Canada. With the implementation of the Russian Federation anti gay laws, the Oracle has taken this as the straw that has broken the camels back, so to speak, as far as going to or watching the Sochi Winter Games.

But much to my Dear Readers surprise this is not the only reason that the Oracle of Ottawa is giving Sochi a pass this coming winter. It may come as a surprise that the Oracle of Ottawa had already given the Sochi destination at any time a mental pass a long time ago. The main fear that the Oracle would have in going to Sochi this winter is the fact of all Russia's very pissed alongside neighbors, such as the close by recently stomped state of Chechnya. Can you think of a better time for these people to get even as the upcoming Sochi Winter Olympics? The Oracle of Ottawa expects many repeated full out suicide attacks. And another reason that all peoples from democratic Western states should give the Sochi Winter Games the gate is the client state(s) of the present Russian Federation at the time of this writing. The Oracle of Ottawa is not by any means a chemist, but he does know that there are only a very limited number of states in the world today or at any time that has the technology to manufacture Sarin gas. And there is only one or two that can make the fancy custom made Sarin, such as was used recently in Syria. And as press reports from the old style vulgar media so clearly stated, the Sarin that the Syrians recently used was brand new fresh, and had no signs of being old time degraded Sarin from the Cold War days.
Now if old Vladimir Putin would allow this to happen to the people of his most valued client states, how safe is your fat ragged Western ass going to be in Sochi this winter? With this wonderful positive thought in mind, it boogles the Oracle of Ottawa's imagination that the NHL would even contemplate risking all their star players in this tottering near failed gangster, police state! Where in heavens name did they find the insurance company to underwrite this insane risk?

It was with great interest and wondrous amazement that the Oracle of Ottawa greeted the news of HMCS Toronto's huge Arabian Sea drug bust of over half a ton of pure heroin! They say on the CBC that the street value is somewhere in the vicinity of 100 million dollars. But where the hell would a half a ton of heroin originate from? The CBC news story hinted that it could be from Afghanistan. And this, to the Oracle of Ottawa, just doesn't sound right. Does it sound right to you?

Now the only thing that is going to be wilder than this feat of high seas policing is the first day back in Halifax when the Mounties try and walk the drug sniffing dogs through the lower decks! The damn critters will be going totally nuts. Try and picture it. The dog(s) will be more confused then Herring Cove on Fathers Day!
Could you imagine a shrewd Afghanistan tribal leader putting such a huge load all in one place? The Oracle of Ottawa doesn't see it either. Could this not also be construed to be a crime against humanity? If the International Criminal Court existed in the 1930's, would the world be a different place today? With the advent of stateless and literally homeless vagabond Multinational Corporations that operate all over the world with , at present, absolute impunity, perhaps it is time to broaden the mandate of the International Criminal Court? Perhaps any bank or government that operates in a country that supports the International Criminal Court should automatically be under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court. In short order any country that did not sign the Treaty, is in reality, a failed state waiting to happen.
