The Oracle of Ottawa has been to many faraway places, many times, in his long life, so far. The Oracle has always found that a foreign destination is most safely picked by passing a little rule of thumb test, and that is never go to a strange country as a tourist that does not treat all of it's people as you are treated in Canada. With the implementation of the Russian Federation anti gay laws, the Oracle has taken this as the straw that has broken the camels back, so to speak, as far as going to or watching the Sochi Winter Games.

But much to my Dear Readers surprise this is not the only reason that the Oracle of Ottawa is giving Sochi a pass this coming winter. It may come as a surprise that the Oracle of Ottawa had already given the Sochi destination at any time a mental pass a long time ago. The main fear that the Oracle would have in going to Sochi this winter is the fact of all Russia's very pissed alongside neighbors, such as the close by recently stomped state of Chechnya. Can you think of a better time for these people to get even as the upcoming Sochi Winter Olympics? The Oracle of Ottawa expects many repeated full out suicide attacks. Mountain people carry grudges forever.

 And another reason that all peoples from democratic Western states should give the Sochi Winter Games the gate is the client state(s) of the present Russian Federation at the time of this writing. The Oracle of Ottawa is not by any means a chemist, but he does know that there are only a very limited number of states in the world today or at any time that has the technology to manufacture Sarin gas. And there is only one or two that can make the fancy custom made Sarin, such as was used recently in Syria. And as press reports from the old style vulgar media so clearly stated, the Sarin that the Syrians recently used was brand new fresh, and had no signs of being old time degraded Sarin from the Cold War days. 

Now if old Vladimir Putin would allow this to happen to the people of his most valued client states, how safe is your fat ragged Western ass going to be in Sochi this winter? With this wonderful positive thought in mind, it boogles the Oracle of Ottawa's imagination that the NHL would even contemplate risking all their star players in this tottering near failed gangster, police state! Where in heavens name did they find the insurance company to underwrite this insane risk?

'Harper Government' - A Verizon Of Choice

You know it is a terrible idea when the beached whales (i.e. James Moore) of the dying 'Harper Government' are dumping their latest right wing Bilderberg Group ordered directive in the deepest dog days of summer on hapless Canadians. Now the brainwave is that the way to get cheaper cellphone rates in Canada is to invite Verizon, the Wall-Mart of communication companies, into Canada and in turn destroy the whole industry. I guess the punks in short pants at the Prime Ministers Office thought this this would be a great idea.

But the Oracle of Ottawa has to admit it is just music to his ears to hear the scum at Rogers, Bell and Telus  complain for a change! Recently when the Oracle of Ottawa called Rogers to bitch about the lack of Major League Baseball, he was told that he couldn't complain! Oh the Oracle got to complain all right, and it is a terrible thing to make a temporary foreign worker cry.

Of course if Verizon is allowed into Canada there will be thousands of lost Canadian jobs. As a matter of fact the Oracle of Ottawa is quite surprised that no one has figured out the real reason that wee Jimmy Moore is rolling out the Red and White carpet to Verizon. The Oracle of Ottawa has it on good authority that it is really about the creation of that new labour union that is going to called UNIFOR, which is going to take place on this coming Labour Day. The Oracle of Ottawa is really going to enjoy it when the NDP start pumping this rude fact out to the Canadian public during the fall sitting of the House.

 And it is all really just another sign of the failed ideology of the 'Harper Government'. By failing to do their job and stepping in to protect the Canadian consumer as it is the job of a real government to do, they are now in desperation, going to contract out their responsibilities to Verizon, with hopefully a cell phone price war just in time for the next Federal Election.

What is the difference between a black man in Africa in a uniform, carrying a gun, that devastates his society, and a white guy in a suit, with a briefcase in the West, that devastates his society with "free and open markets" and toxic derivative financial instruments? A Crime Against Humanity is defined as a:  " particularly odious offenses in that they constitute a serious attack on human dignity or grave humiliation or a degradation of one or more human beings." Now we all know that millions of Americans are now living somewhere else, that once lived in seeming detached home luxury. Some, a very large percentage, some say, that will never escape "The Whole Year Inn" in this lifetime.

What about all the members of the European Union countries that have been devastated by credit agencies a continent away that are full of operatives from the Bilderberg Group and the many other secret and nefarious secret societies? Have you realized that all countries that have a social society more advanced than in the United States of America, seemed all of a sudden to be, overnight, a poor credit risk? Funny that...

What about elected governments in a democracy that have been discovered to favor secret corporate friends to the detriment to the people that elected them? Could this not also be construed to be a crime against humanity? If the International Criminal Court existed in the 1930's, would the world be a different place today? With the advent of stateless and literally homeless vagabond Multinational Corporations that operate all over the world with , at present, absolute impunity, perhaps it is time to broaden the mandate of the International Criminal Court? Perhaps any bank or government that operates in a country that supports the International Criminal Court should automatically be under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court. In short order any country that did not sign the Treaty, is in reality, a failed state waiting to happen.

RE: Memo From The Craps Table

Right from the beginning of this literary experiment the Oracle of Ottawa had made a point of not commenting on American matters. But while I was tapping my little fingers down to the second set of knuckles during the recent Canadian Federal election I was much chagrined and very flattered that more Americans read my humble blog than my fellow Canadians! Perhaps these people like real writing! Who am I to deny them? The good Lord sends mysterious messengers on his errands. Having learned everything that I know, so far, from the greatest Doctor of Journalism of my life time, the ghostly hand of the doctor has squeezed my shoulder and informed me to go for the Big Time...

Barack Obama is a very intelligent man. I figure he has an I.Q. of anywhere from 150-165 minimum. You would think that all of America would get behind him. From the outside looking in, he is one of the greatest Presidents of all time. I couldn't believe that the Republicans didn't know that Hawaii was an American State! The birth certificate garbage would have been discovered before the first primary, no doubt by a Republican, and if true, we would have never heard of Mr. Obama, let alone see him become President. As I watched it all unfold up in Canada I couldn't comprehend the pathological insanity of it all.
This right wing insanity was threatening the President's whole Administration.  

I will readily admit that I was totally blown away last Sunday night when I first heard the news. And then after a few minutes I shuddered at how bad this all could have gone. And then after a few days it dawned on me what the real game plan was. Osama bin Laden was the false flag! Mere gravy at best. The real treasure for the Obama Administration was the multiple laptops, hard drives, and memory sticks.. BOO YA! The Mother Lode....The far right secret societies damn near brought this Administration down. The inter-connectedness of the worlds elites.. it was all starting to build, and if left unchecked would have been, sooner than later, completely successful. The trails and data on those drives and devices is totally devastating! I can tell you with great confidence that many CIA chiefs of station all over the developed free world are rocking and rolling... May I even be so bold to predict a warming wave of reconciliation with the hard right and a warming glow of future cooperation?  May I also be the first to predict heavy duty evidence of treason and treachery, the likes you haven't seen since Benedict Arnold? Yes, I think plainly, that we can draw the conclusion that there will be many additions to your wife's retinal face cream....

There will be silence among the California redwoods this summer, and for years to come. Tap Day on all American campus's will be met with unanswered doors and the fleeing of plebes. The Bilderberg Groups next annual meeting will be very short in attendance. As will those of the future, again,  for many years to come... President Obama will sail in and through his second term. Hillary Clinton will also have a very smooth ride to her two terms also. Peace will rule over all the lands.....

And the second term is a lock...
